Also called ghostwriting by those who like to sound cool, or copywriting for those who are honest with themselves…the difference with my researched content writing, however, is that I study up. I love learning. And I want to learn everything there is to know about your industry so I can write engaging and informative content no matter what your topic may be.
In the ten years that I have been researching academically and professionally, I’ve written well-informed white papers, case studies, company blog content, email newsletters, business articles, and more.
Additionally, if you’re looking for more data-centered storytelling that uses robust analysis, visualizations and the latest data science tools, check out my data storytelling page. I combine my joy for creating engaging content with my skills in Python and analytics to give life to your data and transform raw information into useful insights.
As far as topics go…(nearly) anything is fair game. I’ve written articles on finance, technology, e-commerce, supply chain analytics, port terminal operating systems (because that’s a real thing, I’ve learned), machine learning, wireless signal propagation, public health, pet health, *breathe*, escape rooms, gender neutral kids clothing, the origin of the Hurdy Gurdy, investing in art, investing in sneakers, the history of the Brooklyn bridge, the future of 5G, how 5G will change the future of laptops, how machine learning will change the future of demand forecasting, how demand forecasting can help your business, real life treasure hunters, the best car insurance companies in Canada, the top 5 best selling musicians in history (spoiler alert, it’s the Beatles), clothing trends, handbag fashion trends, consumer packaged goods industry trends, rain gutter cleaning companies in the northern UK…
You get the point. I love learning new things. I love researching. I love writing engaging content. And I want to use my loves to help your business succeed.
(There are certain topics I won’t or can’t cover. For example, I’m legally bound to not promote anything CBD or cannabis related, and I won’t write your academic school papers. Quit asking me to write your college thesis, students! I already did mine. I’m not doing yours, too.)
Any Voice, Unlimited Revisions
Another thing I provide that the average copywriter may not is unlimited revisions and the ability to write in whatever voice or style you need.
If I give you an article that you aren’t happy with, tell me what you don’t like about it. I promise, I won’t get mad. I’ve got thick skin. I’ll take your honest feedback and re-work the article as many times as necessary to get you the article that you need.
I can write to match whatever tone you are trying to convey. From professional business writing to a casual blog post filled with wit, sarcasm, and cleverness, and anything in between. Just let me know what you’re looking for, or even better, provide me with a sample of an article whose voice you want to match, and I’ll get it done for you. If it isn’t quite what you want the first time –> unlimited revisions, my friend.
I charge a flat rate of ten cents ($.10 USD) per word. That means $50 USD for a 500 word article, $100 for 1,000 words, see below for a pricing guide of the most common lengths of articles I write. Take note that if you order through Fiverr, they charge you a service fee on top of my price (as well as take a 20% cut from my earnings to constantly remind me that I gotten into the wrong business).
Here are the most common lengths of articles that I have been contracted to write along with their prices:
Short and sweet blurbs: 300 words (+/- 150 words) = $30 USD
Quick web reads: 500 words (+/- 150 words) = $50 USD
Average length web articles: 750 words (+/- 150 words) = $75 USD
Longer articles (usually in depth looks or technical topics): 1,000 words (+/- 150 words) = $100 USD
Articles longer than 1,000 words are charged at a rate of ten cents per word in 100 word increments (1,100 words for $110 USD, 1,200 words for $120 USD, 1,300 words for $130 USD, and so forth)
Direct Ordering or Fiverr: Dealer’s Choice
You can contact me below to get started or to request my portfolio. I will respond within 24 hours, get an idea of what you need, and then the fun starts (for me, all you have to do is sit back and relax while I do my thing). As for payment, transactions are completed through PayPal, the details of which can be discussed in our correspondence. Once payment is confirmed, I can get started on the writing. You can cancel your order at any time before I have delivered the first draft, not after. This is to prevent clients from cancelling orders after they’ve received an article that they plan to use.
If you prefer to work through a third party platform, you can also find me on Fiverr. I am perfectly happy to receive orders and work payments through their platform, but please keep in mind that they charge you a service fee while additionally taking a 20% cut of my payment. I still only charge at my same rate of 10 cents per word, but I only see eight of it. If you order direct from me by using the contact form below, you save money and I get to keep more of my earnings.
